1. Program Commitment
Enrollment requires regular attendance, punctuality, active participation, and completion of assigned work. Parents and students are expected to communicate promptly about absences, scheduling concerns, and circumstances that may affect participation.
2. Pen-and-Paper Learning Requirement
Saleem Academy emphasizes handwritten, pen-and-paper work as an essential part of learning. Students must show complete handwritten reasoning, calculations, diagrams, annotations, and supporting work for mathematics and other designated assignments. Entering or submitting answers alone is not sufficient. The purpose of this requirement is to develop reasoning, organization, accuracy, retention, and independent problem-solving skills.
3. Scanned Work Submission
Students must scan or clearly photograph assigned handwritten work and upload it through the platform designated by Saleem Academy, currently expected to be Gradescope or another approved system. Uploaded work must be readable, complete, properly oriented, organized in the requested order, and submitted by the stated deadline.
4. Academic Integrity and Technology Use
Submitted work must represent the student's own effort. Students may not use artificial intelligence tools, answer-sharing websites, unauthorized calculators, solution manuals, or outside assistance unless an instructor specifically permits it. Saleem Academy may require paper-based assessments, oral checks, or follow-up work to confirm understanding.
5. Assignments and Assessments
Online completion records do not replace required handwritten work. Students are responsible for completing assigned practice, corrections, quizzes, tests, and other assessments. Incomplete or missing work may affect continued enrollment.
6. Parent Oversight
Parents agree to monitor attendance, assignment completion, uploaded written work, and communications from Saleem Academy. Parents should provide a suitable study environment and ensure that the student has the required materials and technology.
7. Equipment and Online Participation
Students must have a charged laptop, reliable internet access, a functioning camera and microphone when required, paper, writing supplies, and any other announced materials. Cameras may be required during online instruction.
8. Attendance and Missed Work
Absences do not automatically excuse assignments. Students are responsible for obtaining and completing missed work. Repeated absences, tardiness, incomplete assignments, or failure to submit required handwritten work may affect continued enrollment.
9. Conduct
Students must interact respectfully with instructors, staff, volunteers, and classmates. Disruptive, dishonest, unsafe, or persistently noncompliant behavior may result in suspension or dismissal.
10. Academic Outcomes
Saleem Academy provides instruction, feedback, practice, and accountability but does not guarantee a particular grade, test score, placement, admission result, or academic outcome.
11. Tuition, Continuation, Withdrawal, and Refunds
Tuition is charged monthly and is due at the end of each month for services provided during that month. Parents may withdraw a student at any time. Before deciding whether to continue, parents are encouraged to speak with their child, review the student's participation and progress, and independently assess whether the program continues to be beneficial. There is no long-term enrollment commitment and no advance withdrawal-notice requirement. Parents remain responsible for tuition earned through the student's final month of participation. No tuition will be charged for future months after withdrawal. The SAT program registration fee is non-refundable once paid. Payments made in error or for services not provided will be reviewed and corrected by Saleem Academy.
12. Electronic Communications and Signature
Parents consent to program-related communications through email, telephone, text message, WhatsApp, and approved educational platforms. Selecting the acceptance checkbox, consenting to electronic signatures, typing a legal name, and submitting this registration constitutes an electronic signature and indicates acceptance of this agreement.
